My name is Mawuse Aku Ziegbe. I’ve written for The Associated Press, BET.com, BET News, TRACE magazine, Bleu magazine, Okayplayer.com, Frank151.com, HipHopSite.com, Music Choice News and Australian magazine Inpress/Zebra. Currently, I write a column for GiantStep.net called Giant Step’s Resident. I am also a writer and researcher at BET Networks. I’m originally from Boston and I have a B.A. in Political Science, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. I currently live Brooklyn, New York.
